Óbidos

Starting from our Bed and Breakfast, your first visit is the Sanctuary of Senhor Jesus da Pedra, just around the corner. Have a coffee at the little café before you continue to the village.
Walk the medieval walls surrounding the romantic little city with spectaculair views of the surroundings, on a clear day all the way to the ocean.
Stroll down the main street with its many art and souvenir shops, or go off the main street and find yourself in narrow streets free of tourists. During the evening you can get the feeling of actually being there centuries ago.
Have lunch on one of the patios under the colorful bougainvilleas, or try a Ginja d’Óbidos (cherry liqueur) in a chocolate cup.
